Voluntary External Standards
ICL endorses and follows a variety of initiatives and quality management systems in the operation of its subsidiaries in order to improve and streamline processes and performance as well as to reduce risks. 89% of ICL’s facilities are certified for the following standards: ISO 14001 for environmental management, OHSAS 18001 or an equivalent standard for safety and ISO 9001 for quality. \
The standards and initiatives we follow, include (and are not limited to), quality management – ISO 9001 or an equivalent standard; environmental management – ISO 14001 or an equivalent standard; safety and health management – OHSAS or an equivalent standard; food safety standards for the food industry; energy management; GMP for food as well as for pharma (for active pharmaceutical ingredients; responsible care and more.
